Nestled on the Eastern Bank of the Savannah
River, North Augusta is uniquely located on the border of South Carolina and Georgia. With
a population of 17,000, we enjoy the dual pleasures of a quiet, family-oriented community
and the city advantages of greater Augusta (GA) and Aiken (SC). History is everywhere
ranging from original structures to restored and remodeled sites designed to enhance your
enjoyment. Our concern for preserving the freedom of the out-of-doors even when within the
city is demonstrated in our North Augusta Greenway. Here our residents and visitors can
enjoy its trail (with benches and picnic tables) without ever leaving the city.
